The other day I was asked 'Why haven't you posted on the site in so long?'. Well, there's a long story here, so I'll give you the condensed version -I moved earlier in the year, have been working on new material for the band, have been working on the CD along with the rest of the guys, and recently joined up with Caroline Blue to fill in a vacancy there in the low end department. As you can imagine, I've been pretty damned busy and my internet time has been severely limited at the moment, but I've checked in and kept up to date on things here.
The long and short of it is that we here in the Nightmare are really gearing up for the release of our first LP with the current lineup, and this next coming year is certainly going to be a busy one, which we are looking forward to. This summer, the Nightmare will be coming back stronger and louder than ever, as we are really reaching a good point with our recent expansion of the lineup to include Set and Rayzor and beginning to push our envelope a bit with some different technical bits.
As for me, you friendly neighborhood Ghoul, I've not been slacking off. I've been writing a book in addition to expanding my bass technique and learning a few new things that I probably should have learned a long time ago. I love learning from different people because there is always something new to learn, from a personal method to a technical lesson, there world of music is a deep pool, and I have been trying to become a better swimmer, so to speak. So, here I am waiting out yet another Central New York winter, trying to make the most of it, and looking forward to seeing you all this summer with new CDs in your hands.
