So, I know what you're saying out there... "where the f**k is the album we've promised for who knows how long?'. Well, there have been a lot of stops and starts in the recording and creative process (which can be read about in other places on this site) that have resulted in our original due dates being continually pushed back, but with the album in the can, as it were, and preparing to be (finally!) mixed and mastered, we know stand, quasi-officially, on the eve of the actual release of the CD.
It's been a long, hard road to get the songs, as well as ourselves, into the right shape, and we guarantee that the whole job will be worth the wait, and certainly a worthy follow-up to our past releases several years back. The band is stronger and tighter than ever before, and we intend to make this CD available in time for the start of our summer gig calendar, which is MORE of a reason to come out and see us. Your other reasons are a night of solid metal, a few songs for the ladies, and a fun party. Soon, you'll see our little shwag counter set up with copies of ...Tragically Ever After on sale. Our first full LP with this lineup, marking a new milestone for this band's history.
Let me give you a few reasons to have interest in this CD: Long Way From Home, Another Way, Bathory's Web, All Of My Nights, Immortal Dreams... you've hard these songs live, and now they will be available in CD form... and soon. Very soon.
Needless to say, there's been a great deal of tension within the band as we eagerly await the day we set those CDs out for sale at any media outlet available to us. It's an album that will be worth the wait. Oh, and worry not. We're already well on our way with material for the next CD, which will be done in far less time. We promise.
Maybe.
Ha!
Until next time
