For those who are unaware that the Born Again Savages guestbook is still up and floating about the internet, I thought I would reprint this last post on it here for posterity's sake. Written by former nightmare drummer I.M. Illin, it features revelations about the future that I think are important:
"Here's some real Savage news John,Joe,& I have decided that the Born Again Savages are now offically a reunion band we'll probably get togather once or twice a year to rockout old school. While we are retiring B.A.S. we are also resurrecting Undergang featuring Al Smead on vocals and plan on hitting The Top Of The House studio in September to record a full lenghth C.D. that should be done by the end of 04.We will also be putting up a new web site for Undergang and I'll stop back here to post where you can find the site .........if this site is still here.To all of our friends over the years who have played in The Savages (On Vocals Jammie Flynn, Joey Larkin, Tom Carpenter on Bass Tom Bushnell,Bobby Budd, Al Smead on Key's and Guitar Joe Stanley & Clayton )and to all the fans over the years much thanks for everything, and to the hater's you help us make our music greater."
While it's hard to think of Syracuse without the Born Again Savages, I can at least accept it knowing that there's an Undergang or some Wife Beating Mayors floating about.
This also leads to a little shameless promo: Check us out with Undergang, Worm Quartet and Creepjoin October 9th at the Half-Penny Pub, right here in Syracuse and check out I.M. Illin, Joe DeRienzo, J.T. and the inconquerable Al Schmied live in action.
